Homepage of the 52nd New York Reenactors

Welcome to the homepage of the 52nd New York Reenactors!

Members of the 52nd at the Monroe Museum Village in 2004

Come and join one of the only groups that reenacts a German unit, the 52nd New York Volunteers, also known as the German Rangers and the Sigel Rifles.
We are a small, family oriented, independent group located on Long Island, with members from New York City and upstate New York as well.  We participate in both local and national reenactment events.  We also take part in local living history events, parades and fairs.

We are always looking for new members to join us.  If you are new to reenacting, we would be happy to help equip you for your first few reenactments.  For those reenactors looking for a new unit, we are a group that is not involved in "politics" or has any kind of membership in any larger or national groups.

Safety is our number one priority, and we are focused on authenticity and having fun.  Should you decide to join us, or have any questions, feel free to inquire at 52nyreenactors@gmail.com
